A week in Lake Garda for a family travelling with two toddlers.
The Brief
Family W were looking for a week away in mid september, and were travelling for the first with two toddlers. They wanted somewhere warm but not too hot as they weren’t ‘fly and flop beach’ people!
The Solution
A week in Lake Garda in a villa with a heated pool five minutes walk from Bardolino, with private transfers.
We suggested midday flights from a local airport to best help minimise sleep disruption for the little ones.
A hire car with car seats was arranged for them so that the family could have some freedom and flexibility and travel to the villa far more quickly than via a public transfer.
We suggested a small villa with a private pool and three bedrooms so everyone could have some peace at night and Mum and Dad could relax with a glass of wine!
We found a villa with a heated pool so that the little ones would not be too cold it the weather cooled down a bit.
During the day the children loved exploring villages such as Desenzano, Sirmione and Lazise. There were plenty of things to do for the kids including an inflatable/trampline area, great parks and beaches. The family loved exploring the area by car and boat.
The affordable Italian food of pasta and pizza was an easy crowd pleaser and the irristible gelato a clear winner!
