Hi I am Helen and I have been lucky to travel to many exciting places in the world.
As a child aged seven I wanted to be air hostess in the glamorous era of travel, so I guess the travel “bug” was always in me!
I’ve spotted a pack of wild dogs in South Africa, seen a leopard drag its prey into a tree in Kenya, tried to find “Nemo” in the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean and ridden a mule in the Atlas Mountains.
As a self confessed foodie or maybe just lover of yummy stuff I have eaten scrumptious local food in markets, cafes, tavernas and restaurants all over Europe and beyond.
I’ve stayed in five star deluxe hotels where the atrium smells of fresh jasmine as well as small family run boutique places where the service has been so special and personal.
Having been born in Kenya the love of wildlife and conservation as always been in my blood.
From witnessing the wildebeest migration through to being chased in a Landrover by a white rhino, Africa delivers on so many levels. I’m a safari specialist and what I don’t know about Africa isn’t worth knowing!
However I’m often prised away from Africa and his second love is archeology and history. I’ve been known to nearly miss a ride on a cruise ship whilst delving deep into the antiquity of Delos.
Like Helen, my wife, I have a love of good food and wine and am an avid sun worshipper, able to get a tan in six seconds, much to the annoyance of Helen who describes herself as “slightly less pale” after two weeks on a sunny beach in 30 degrees!
